A controls contractor that stays on.
We're a Chelmsford-based building controls contractor of about thirty-five people. Since 1997 our own team has designed, installed and serviced the energy management systems behind heating, cooling and ventilation in offices, schools, labs and town halls across New England, and we are still looking after most of them.
We think of ourselves as your building's primary care physician. We know its history, we see it on a schedule, and we catch small things before they become expensive ones.
That is why every system we install runs on open protocols you own, why operator training comes with the installation, and why the engineers who scoped the job are the ones who pick up the phone afterwards.
FMC Technologies was founded in 1997 and works from 27 Industrial Avenue in Chelmsford, Massachusetts. Most days the work is somewhere between Portland, Maine and New Haven, and a few national accounts take us further.
The work is building automation: the controls behind heating, cooling and ventilation, the front-end your team runs the building from, and the service that keeps both running. Mass Save filings, energy benchmarking and BuildingPulse monitoring sit around that core.
What we stand behind.
The people who design the system are the people who install it, commission it and answer the phone about it afterwards. Nothing is handed off to a stranger.
BACnet and Modbus, commonly on Tridium Niagara, so the system belongs to you rather than to a controls vendor, and no single-vendor service contract you cannot walk away from.
Every installation comes with training for the people who run the building, and FMC stays on afterwards for tuning once the building is occupied.
The building automation system runs on an isolated, secured network, set up with your IT team or provided by FMC.
We screen the fit, handle the qualification paperwork, and see the rebate claim through utility sign-off. The rebate is paid to you, the customer of record.
Preventive maintenance on a schedule, a closer look between visits, and a person who answers when something is wrong.
Show us your building.
A walkthrough with an FMC engineer takes about an hour and costs nothing. You'll leave with a candid read on your systems and where the savings are.
